Hey everyone, it’s your girl back again with another story to tell. Today’s tea is all about my husband, Cody Mance. Let me start from the beginning, shall we?
I grew up in Melbourne, Australia. That’s where I spent most of my early years, right up until university. I attended the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology from 2015 to 2017, studying public relations. It was during this time that I met my now-husband, Cody. We hit it off immediately, and it wasn’t long before we were inseparable.
Fast forward to October 31, 2020 – yep, Halloween! We tied the knot, and it was the most magical day of my life. Honestly, saying “I do” to Cody was the easiest decision I’ve ever made. After we got married, we decided to make a big move. About two and a half years ago, we packed our bags and moved to LA. I know, right? Big change! The first few months were a whirlwind of setting up our new house and getting used to the LA lifestyle. It was exciting and a little overwhelming, but we were doing it together, and that’s what mattered.
Now, let’s talk about my career. In 2022, I started something that I’m really proud of – my own company called Heaven Mayhem. I’m the Creative Director and Founder, and it’s been a wild ride. I’ve always been passionate about creativity, and starting Heaven Mayhem was a way for me to really dive into that passion. Around the same time, I also launched my podcast, “Pia’s Pod.” It was so much fun having guests like Maddie Orlando, Ashton Wood, and Betsy-Blue English on the show. We talked about everything from life to work to just about anything that came to mind.
One thing that’s come up a lot is how Cody and I manage our finances. Some people are surprised to hear that we don’t share a bank account. I get it – it’s not the traditional way, but it works for us. We’re a team, but we also value our independence. We both have our own careers and our own ways of handling money, and we respect that about each other. It’s all about communication and finding what works best for your relationship.

So, that’s a little peek into my life with Cody and all the adventures we’ve had together. From getting married to moving across the world to starting my own business, it’s been an incredible journey. And through it all, Cody has been my rock.
