Okay, so, I tried out this new thing called “jck nails,” and let me tell you, it was quite the experience. I’ve always been kinda basic with my nails, you know? Usually, I just slap on some polish and call it a day. But I saw these all over the internet, and I thought, why not give it a shot? These are not my usual style, but hey, gotta step out of the comfort zone sometimes, right?
First off, I gathered all my supplies. I already had some nail polish at home, but I made a quick run to the store to grab some extra stuff. I got some nail tools, and a few different colors of polish. I wasn’t really sure what I was doing, but it seemed easy enough from the videos I watched online.
The Process:
- Prep Work: I started by cleaning my nails. I pushed back my cuticles, filed my nails into a shape I liked, and buffed them a little. This part was pretty standard, nothing new here.
- Base Coat: Next, I applied a base coat. I read somewhere that this helps the polish stick better and protects your nails. Made sense to me, so I didn’t skip this step.
- Color Time: This is where it got interesting. I decided to go with a classic red for most of my nails, but I also tried a shimmery neutral on my ring fingers. I used my vegan essie original nail polish, which is pretty good. I applied two coats to make sure the color really popped. It looked good.
- Top Coat: After the color dried, I added a top coat. I think this is supposed to make the manicure last longer and give it a glossy finish.
Once the top coat dried, I was pretty much done. It took a bit longer than I expected, but overall, it wasn’t too bad.
The Result
Honestly, I was pretty impressed with myself! My nails looked almost like I got them done at a salon. And the best part is the Swarovski crystal. I found a nice crystal, and it made my nails so shiny. I’m definitely going to try this again. Maybe next time, I’ll experiment with more colors and designs. Who knows, maybe I’ll even try some nail art. Anyway, I just wanted to share my little nail adventure. It was fun, and I ended up with some pretty cool-looking nails. If you’re bored with your usual nail routine, I’d say give this a try. It’s a nice way to spice things up!
