Okay, here’s a blog post about my experience with Jo Malone Red Hibiscus, written in the style you requested:
So, I finally tried out that Jo Malone Red Hibiscus fragrance. It’s been all over my Instagram feed, and let me tell you, the bottle is gorgeous. That alone almost made me buy it, haha. But yeah, I went to the store to give it a sniff, you know, just to see what the hype was all about.
First thing I did was ask the lady there where they kept it. I was like,”Where’s that red Jo Malone perfume?” She showed me, and I sprayed it on one of those paper strips. Smelled pretty good, kinda sweet but not too much. Definitely a strong floral scent, which I’m usually into.
Then, I was like, “Okay, let’s try it on my skin.” ‘Cause you never really know until you put it on yourself, right? I sprayed it on my wrist and waited a bit. It’s a bit different on the skin, a little warmer, I guess. Still floral, but with something else mixed in. I can’t really put my finger on it, honestly.
- Went to the store and found the perfume.
- Sprayed it on a paper strip first.
- Then sprayed it on my wrist.
- Walked around a bit to see how it smelled after a while.
Here is what I did step by step:
I walked around the store for a while, sniffing my wrist every few minutes. It changed a bit as it dried down, became a bit softer, maybe? Still a nice smell, but pretty strong. I think it’s the kind of perfume that people will either love or hate. There’s no in-between with this one, I think.
Did I end up buying it? Not this time. It’s a bit pricey, and I wasn’t totally blown away. It’s a nice scent, don’t get me wrong, but maybe not for me. I might go back and try it again another day. Maybe it’ll grow on me. We’ll see! Has anyone else tried this one? Let me know what you think!
