Okay, so, you guys know I like to try out crazy stuff and share it all with you. Well, this time, I decided to recreate that infamous Kim Kardashian Paper Magazine cover. You know, the one that supposedly “broke the internet” back in 2014. I’ve always been curious, could I really pull it off?

So, I started researching a bit, found out the shoot was done by Paper Magazine, and Kim was all about showing off her, uh, assets. It was wild, provocative, and definitely got people talking. I gathered all the behind-the-scenes details I could find. Apparently, she’s done nude shoots before, like for Playboy, but this one was next level.
First things first, I needed to get the setting right. I didn’t have a professional studio or anything, so I just cleared out a space in my living room. Got a plain backdrop, similar to the one in the photos. Lighting was tricky, but I managed with some lamps I had lying around. It wasn’t perfect, but it did the job.
Next, the outfit. Or, well, the lack of it. I found a similar necklace that Kim was wearing. The whole idea is to be, you know, bare. So, I went for it.
Now, the pose. This was the hardest part. I studied the original photos carefully, trying to mimic Kim’s posture. Let me tell you, it’s not as easy as it looks! You need a lot of balance and, um, confidence. I tried to copy that pose and nailed it finally.
- Positioning my body at just the right angle took some serious effort.
- Holding that champagne glass was another challenge. I don’t even drink champagne!
- And that other pic. Without any clothes? That was another story.
After many attempts and some awkward moments, I finally got a few shots I was happy with. It was hilarious, to be honest. I sent the photos to a couple of friends, and they couldn’t stop laughing. They said I nailed the vibe, even if the setting was a bit makeshift.

It was a fun experiment, and it definitely gave me a new appreciation for what models go through. It’s not just about looking good; it’s about conveying a certain attitude and energy. Would I do it again? Probably not. But it was definitely an experience I won’t forget. Plus, I’ve got some hilarious photos to look back on. Maybe I didn’t “break the internet,” but I definitely broke a sweat trying!
This whole thing was just for kicks, you know? A little weekend project that turned out to be way more challenging and fun than I expected. So, there you have it, my attempt at recreating the Kim K Paper Magazine cover. Hope you got a good laugh out of it!
