Okay, here’s my story about trying to recreate that Kim Kardashian “Paper” nude photo, written in the style you described:

So, the other day, I was scrolling through the internet, you know, just wasting time, and I came across that infamous Kim Kardashian photo again. The one where she’s all oiled up and, well, naked, for “Paper” magazine. I’ve seen it a million times, but this time, I thought, “Why not try to recreate this? It could be fun.” I mean, unless your Internet literally broke over the past two days, you must know what I am talking about.
First, I needed to get myself ready. This wasn’t going to be easy, by the way. I cleared out my living room to make space, ’cause my apartment’s tiny. Then, I went to the store and grabbed a bunch of baby oil. Figured I needed to get that glossy look she had in the picture. Let me tell you, carrying that much oil is a workout in itself.
- Step one: Clear the space.
- Step two: Buy a ridiculous amount of baby oil.
- Step three: Attempt to replicate the pose.
Back home, I started to apply the oil. It was a mess. I was slipping and sliding all over the place. I tried to copy Kim’s pose, but let me tell you, it’s harder than it looks. I pulled a muscle trying to get my leg in the right position. I guess I am not that flexible, huh?
After many failed attempts and a lot of oil later, I finally managed to get a pose that was somewhat similar. Then came the tricky part – taking the photo. I set up my phone on a timer, propped it up with some books, and hoped for the best. This was a whole operation, man.
Update: “Paper” has released the full cover story. What am I doing man? Kardashian posed fully nude for reclusive fashion photographer Goude at a… I totally forgot who took the picture, I must be a fool.

The Results
I took a bunch of photos, each one more awkward than the last. When I finally looked at them, I couldn’t help but laugh. I looked nothing like Kim K, obviously. But you know what? It was a blast. I had so much fun doing this silly project.
I ended up covered in oil, with a pulled muscle, and a collection of the most ridiculous photos ever. But hey, it was an experience. Would I do it again? Probably not. But it was definitely a memorable way to spend an afternoon. And I learned one thing: recreating magazine covers is way harder than it looks. Hats off to Kim Kardashian and the photographer, Jean-Paul Goude, by the way, I just found his name. They make it look easy. Tags: The Internet, Kim Kardashian. Whatever, who cares.
