So, yesterday I went on a little adventure to find some nice smells in New York City. I started my day by checking out some spots in Manhattan, like this place called Fragrance Shop New York. Man, they had so many bottles there, it was kinda overwhelming! But in a good way, you know?

First Impressions
I walked into a few stores, and each one had its own vibe. Some were super fancy, like Amaffi Perfume House. I felt like I needed to be dressed up just to walk in there! Others were more chill, like Scent Bar NYC. They had a bunch of different smells, from flowery stuff to things that smelled like wood or even leather.
Exploring Different Scents
- I learned that it’s better to start with lighter scents. Smelling a strong one first can make it hard to notice the more delicate ones later on.
- The people who worked at the stores were pretty cool. They asked me what kind of smells I usually like and then helped me find some new ones to try.
- I tried on a few that I really liked, and some that weren’t really my thing. It’s all about finding what works for you, right?
The Experience
Spent the whole afternoon just sniffing around, literally. My nose was definitely working overtime! But it was fun. Discovered a few new favorites, and even bought a small bottle of one I really liked. It’s from a place called Olfactory NYC, where you can custom create your scent.
Final Thoughts
It was a good day. Found some cool spots and learned a bit more about what kind of scents I’m into. If you’re ever in New York and want to find a new perfume, you should definitely check out some of these places. Just remember to pace yourself and not try to smell everything at once!
