Okay, so I’ve been on a bit of a fragrance kick lately, and I finally got my hands on the Lush Vanillary perfume. Let me tell you, it’s been quite the experience!

First off, I’ve always been a sucker for vanilla scents. There’s just something so comforting and warm about them, you know? So, when I heard about Vanillary, I was like, “Sign me up!” I did a bit of reading online – you know, just browsing through some reviews and stuff – and it sounded right up my alley. Sweet, a little bit of burnt caramel, and some jasmine thrown in for good measure. What’s not to love?
I decided to head over to my local Lush store. I figured it’s always better to try a scent in person before committing. Stepping into the store, I was hit with that familiar Lush smell – you know the one, kind of a mix of everything. I made a beeline for the perfume section, and there it was, Vanillary, in all its glory. They had a tester bottle, so I took a little spritz on my wrist. The first thing I noticed was how strong it was! Just one spray and the sweet, warm vanilla was all around me.
- First Impression: Definitely sweet, but not in a sickly way. More like a rich, warm, fudge-like vanilla. I could pick up on the tonka bean, too, which gave it that burnt caramel vibe.
- After a While: It settled down a bit after the initial burst, and the jasmine started to peek through. It wasn’t overpowering, just a subtle floral note that balanced out the sweetness.
- Throughout the Day: This stuff is long-lasting! I could still smell it on my wrist hours later. It’s not the kind of scent that fades away quickly.
My Scent Journey
I ended up buying a bottle. I mean, how could I resist? It’s such a cozy, inviting scent, and it really does last all day. I also tried some other scents at Lush, like “Rentless” and “Pansy”, those are nice, but “Vanillary” is my favorite. Plus, I’ve noticed that people, especially guys, seem to dig it. I guess vanilla just has that kind of effect, right? Makes you feel happy and relaxed.
So, yeah, that’s my little adventure with Lush Vanillary. If you’re into sweet, warm, and long-lasting scents, I’d say give it a try. You might just fall in love with it like I did!
