That Mick Jagger, he sure was somethin’ back in the day. Now he’s an old coot, just like me! But boy, could he sing. Still can, I reckon. They call him a rock star. What’s that even mean? He just sings and dances around, gets all the girls screamin’.

I seen pictures of him when he was a young’un. Good lookin’ fella, that Mick Jagger younger. Hair all long and shaggy, kinda like my grandson, before I made him get a haircut. He was in that band, what’s it called… The Rolling Stones. Sounds like a bunch of rocks rollin’ down a hill, if you ask me.
Mick Jagger, he was always movin’ around. Couldn’t sit still, that one. Reminds me of my old rooster, always struttin’ and crowin’. That man, he’s been around the block a few times, I tell ya. Married a couple of times, got a whole mess of kids. Eight of ’em, I hear! Eight! Can you imagine? I only got five, and that was enough to make my hair turn gray.
They say he’s famous. Mick Jagger younger photos, they are all over the place. Like he’s some kind of king or somethin’. I guess folks like that kind of thing. Me, I just like a good cup of tea and some peace and quiet. But I guess he brings folks joy with his music, and that’s somethin’.
- He sings
- He dances
- He’s got a lot of kids
- He’s in a band
- He’s famous
Now, they say Mick Jagger is turnin’ eighty. Eighty years old! Time sure does fly when you’re havin’ fun, I suppose. He’s still out there, singin’ and dancin’. Good for him, I say. Keeps him young at heart. Though his bones are probably creakin’ just like mine. That Mick Jagger younger self is probably laughin’ at him now!
That man, he’s lived a life, that’s for sure. Seen the world, been on stages, had all those people cheerin’ for him. Must be somethin’ special, to have that kind of life. Me, I’m just happy with my little garden and my chickens. But I guess everyone’s got their own path to walk, right?

I remember hearin’ one of his songs on the radio once. “Satisfaction,” I think it was called. Catchy tune, I’ll give him that. Made me wanna tap my foot. My old bones don’t move like they used to, but that song, it almost made me wanna dance. Mick Jagger younger days, he probably danced to that one all night long. He is an icon? What is that mean?
Heard he was supposed to be knighted by the Queen. Fancy, huh? But she wasn’t there, was gettin’ some work done on her knee, I heard. Prince Charles did it instead. Still, pretty fancy to be knighted. Sir Mick Jagger. Has a nice ring to it, don’t it? Mick Jagger, he’s a Sir now!
Well, I reckon that’s all I got to say about that Mick Jagger fella. He’s had a long and interestin’ life, that’s for sure. And he’s still goin’ strong, even at eighty. That is a big number! Good for him. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m gonna go have another cup of tea and maybe listen to that “Satisfaction” song again. It’s a good one, even if I don’t understand half the words.
I seen some pictures of him from back when The Rolling Stones first started. He was just a skinny little thing then. Full of energy, though. You could see it in his eyes. That Mick Jagger younger look, it was somethin’ else. Now he is 81 years old! How about that?
He sure did like to wear those tight pants, didn’t he? And those shirts with all the ruffles and things. Not my style, but I guess it worked for him. Made the girls swoon, that’s for sure. They’d be screamin’ and cryin’ and throwin’ their underthings on stage. Can you imagine? Young folks these days, they’re somethin’ else. Mick Jagger younger pictures sure are interestin.

That band, they sure made a lot of noise. But it was good noise, I guess. Folks liked it. They’d pack those stadiums full of people, all jumpin’ and hollerin’. I guess Mick Jagger, at 80 years old, still could do that now. I’d go deaf, I’m sure. But it must be somethin’ to see all those people, all that energy.
I wonder if he ever gets tired of it all. The travelin’, the singin’, the crowds. Seems like a lot of work to me. But I guess he loves it. You gotta love somethin’ to keep doin’ it for that long, right? Even Mick Jagger younger, he must have loved it back then.
Well, I reckon I’ve said my piece about old Mick Jagger. He’s a legend, they say. Whatever that means. He’s just a fella who sings and dances, far as I can tell. But he’s made a lot of folks happy, and that’s somethin’. So happy birthday to him, I suppose. Eighty years old. That’s a good long run. Hope he’s got many more in him. Now, where’s my tea?
