Okay, so I finally got my hands on the Neo Noe BB! I’ve been eyeing this little cutie for a while now, and let me tell you, it was a bit of a journey to actually get it.
First off, I spent weeks just looking at pictures online. You know, the usual – scrolling through different websites, comparing the Epi leather to the canvas, reading about what other people thought of it. I finally decided I wanted the Epi leather version. It just looked so classy and durable. This bag was apparently made way back in 1932 for some champagne guy, which is kind of cool.
Then came the hard part – actually finding one! It seemed like every store I checked either didn’t have it or it was always out of stock. I even tried calling a few stores, but no luck. Honestly, I was starting to feel a bit discouraged.
Waiting List
Eventually, I decided to just bite the bullet and put my name on the waiting list at the boutique. The sales associate told me it could be a few weeks, maybe even a month, before they got one in. Ugh, the waiting was the worst! But I knew I had to be patient if I really wanted to get this bag. It said “in stock” online, but that was totally not true, they were all sold out.
- Week 1: I called the store just to “check in” (and maybe bug them a little). No luck.
- Week 2: I started to wonder if I should just give up and get a different bag. But then I’d remember how much I loved the Neo Noe BB, and I’d stick it out.
- Week 3: I got the call! They had one! I practically ran to the store.
And finally, after all that, I have it! It’s even more beautiful in person. The leather is so nice, and it’s the perfect size for everyday stuff. This thing is a “tribute” to the original Noe, which I guess is a big deal. I’m so glad I didn’t give up, even though it was a bit of a pain to get. It’s definitely worth all the trouble!
