Rock the Faker Haircut: A Step-by-Step Guide for Gamers, Let us Do It Now!

Date:

Hey everyone, it’s your boy back at it again! Today, I’m gonna walk you through something I tried recently – giving myself a fade haircut, inspired by the one and only Faker. Yeah, you heard that right, I attempted the “Faker haircut”. Let me tell you, it was a wild ride, but hey, no guts, no glory, right?

Getting Started

First off, I needed to get my tools ready. I grabbed my clippers, a couple of different guards, my trusty comb, and a mirror – gotta see what I’m doing, you know? I made sure my hair was clean and dry. I read somewhere that it’s important to start with a clean slate. Plus, nobody wants to work with greasy hair, am I right?

The Process

Okay, so I started by figuring out where I wanted the fade to begin. This was the tricky part. I decided to start with a longer guard on my clippers – better to start slow and then go shorter if needed. I put the largest guard on the clippers and went around my head, buzzing away the bulk of the hair. It felt kinda weird, but satisfying at the same time.

Then I went a guard down and started to give shape to the fade by trimming an inch lower than the previous cut. This is where things started to get a little hairy, no pun intended. Keeping a steady hand was tough! I kept switching between guards, trying to blend the different lengths together. I wanted that smooth transition, like a gradient, you feel me?

After choosing my next guard, I trimmed another inch below the last cut. The blending part was a real test of patience. I spent a good chunk of time just going over and over the same areas, trying to get rid of any harsh lines. I think I did an okay job, but let’s be real, it’s not as easy as it looks.

Finishing Up

Once I was somewhat happy with the fade, I used the clippers without a guard to clean up the edges around my ears and neck. This made the haircut look a bit sharper, I guess. Finally, I grabbed my hand mirror to check out the back. Not too shabby! There were a few uneven spots, but nothing too noticeable.

  • Start with clean hair: Just wash it good.
  • Get your tools: Clippers, guards, comb, mirror.
  • Go slow: Start with a longer guard.
  • Blend, blend, blend: Switch guards to get that smooth fade.
  • Clean up the edges: Make it look sharp.

All in all, it was a fun experiment. Would I do it again? Maybe. Would I recommend it? If you’re feeling brave and have some time on your hands, why not? Just don’t blame me if you end up looking like a patchy mess. It’s all part of the learning process, right? Keep it real, folks!
