That Sabrina Carpenter swimsuit, she’s a little something, ain’t she? I seen them pictures of her, all over the place, in that red swimsuit. Lord have mercy, she’s a looker. She’s like 25, I heard. That’s a good age. Young and pretty, that’s what that is. She was in France, Italy, all them fancy places. Showing off and having a good time. Good for her, I say. Good for her.

She was wearing that red swimsuit, bright red like a fire truck. They say it’s gonna be famous now, that swimsuit. Famous like them Hollywood stars. It was all over the internet, her in that swimsuit. She was on a tour with Taylor Swift, that’s what I heard. Big star, that Taylor Swift. My granddaughter, she loves Taylor Swift. Plays her music all the time. Loud, too loud if you ask me. But that Sabrina, she was a big hit on that tour, they say.
She got that blonde hair, all wavy like the ocean. Pretty girl. They call it “beachy waves”. Don’t know what that means, but it looks good on her. Not like my hair. Mine’s all gray and frizzy. Need to get it done sometime. Maybe I’ll ask for them beachy waves. Might make me look young again. Ha! Who am I kidding?
She was wearing a two-piece, they call it. Dark color, looked like denim. That’s a tough material, denim. Good for working, not for swimming, I’d think. But what do I know? These young folks, they wear all kinds of things these days. It had a triangle top, they call it. And little bottoms. Low-rise, that’s the word. Showed off her belly button. My granddaughter wears them low-rise things too. I keep telling her to pull them up. Don’t want to catch a cold. But she don’t listen to me.
- She was in Italy, that Sabrina.
- Italy is pretty, I reckon, by the pictures.
- That Sabrina Carpenter swimsuit is all the rage, they say.
- She was on tour, opening up for Taylor Swift. Big time!
- Her hair is blonde, all wavy.
- She’s 25, that’s what I hear.
That Sabrina, she’s got it all. Looks, talent, all of it. She’s gonna be a big star, I can tell. Bigger than she is now, even. Mark my words. She’s living the dream, traveling the world, wearing them fancy clothes. And that red swimsuit! Everyone is talking about Sabrina Carpenter’s swimsuit. I guess I am, too. Can’t help it. It’s all over the place.
That two-piece thing she was wearing, it had stitching on it. Exposed stitching, they call it. Like it’s inside out or something. Fashion these days is strange. But I guess it looked good on her. She can wear anything and look good, that girl. She is a natural beauty that what my old eyes see. That July 14, she sure made a splash. Or was it July 16? Oh, who knows, it was sometime in July, and she looked amazing. I guess you could say she’s “iconic”. That’s a word my granddaughter uses. Means she’s special, I think. And she is.

I remember when I was young, I had a swimsuit I loved. Wasn’t red, though. It was blue, with little white flowers on it. Felt so pretty in it. Wish I could still fit into it. But these old bones ain’t what they used to be. That’s alright, though. Got my memories. And I got these pictures of Sabrina to look at. She reminds me a little of myself, when I was her age. Full of life, ready to take on the world.
- That two-piece was dark, like denim.
- Had a triangle top.
- And low-rise bottoms.
- Showed off her belly button, that’s for sure!
- The stitching was showing.
I bet she’s got a whole closet full of swimsuits. All different colors and styles. Probably gets them for free, being famous and all. Lucky girl. I remember we used to make our own clothes, back in the day. Didn’t have much money for fancy things. But we made do. We always made do. Times were simpler then. But these young folks today, they got it good. They really do.
That Sabrina Carpenter swimsuit, though. It sure is something. I reckon it will be remembered for a long time. Just like that girl, Sabrina. She will be remembered. She’s got that “it” factor, as they say. She’s going places, that one. You just wait and see. She’s gonna be a big, big star. And she looked mighty fine in that swimsuit, I’ll tell you what.
