Alright, so I saw this thing online about “Secret Crush” by Victoria’s Secret, and I figured, why not give it a shot? I’ve been meaning to try out new scents anyway, and this one seemed interesting enough.
First, I went to the mall. The one near me has a Victoria’s Secret, so I headed straight there. The store was, you know, pretty pink and all that. I walked in, and it smelled like a mix of a bunch of different perfumes.
I started browsing around, looking for the “Secret Crush” they were talking about online. I saw a bunch of other ones, some I recognized, some I didn’t. Finally, I spotted a tester bottle of the one I was after. It was kind of hidden behind some other stuff, but I found it!
I picked it up and gave it a little sniff. Hmm, not bad, not bad. It’s definitely a sweet smell. Like, really sweet. I sprayed a bit on one of those little paper strips to get a better sense of it. It had that fruity, floral vibe that they always advertise.
I decided to try it on my skin, see how it would react with my body chemistry. I sprayed a little on my wrist and waited a bit. You know how sometimes a perfume smells different on you than it does in the bottle? Well, this one was no exception. It mellowed out a bit on my skin, became a little less intense.
The Verdict
- Initial impression: Super sweet, like candy or something.
- After a while: Still sweet, but a little more subtle.
- Overall: Not bad, but maybe not something I’d wear every day. It’s more of a “special occasion” kind of scent, I think.
So, that was my little adventure with the “Secret Crush” perfume. I ended up not buying it this time, but I might go back for it later. I figured I should try out some other scents before I committed to anything. I wandered around the store a bit more, smelled a few other things, and then headed out.

Maybe I’ll give it another try sometime. Who knows, it might grow on me.
