This Godzilla, my goodness, it’s something else! I heard it’s been around for 70 years. Can you believe it? 70 years! That’s older than me! Citizen, that watch fella, made a new watch for it. They call it the Godzilla Citizen watch. I reckon this Godzilla Citizen thing is a big deal.

They say it’s a “limited edition.” I don’t know what that means, but it sounds fancy. Limited edition Godzilla Citizen, yeah. Must be somethin’ special. This Godzilla Citizen watch, it’s based on some diver’s watch. They call it the “Professional Diver 300m.” What in the world is that? Sounds like somethin’ you’d use to go deep in the ocean, that Godzilla Citizen watch. I ain’t never been that deep, no sir.
This Godzilla Citizen watch, you can buy it now. Some website called “citizenwatch.” They say it’s $900! Lord have mercy, that’s a lot of money for a watch! But for a Godzilla Citizen, maybe it’s worth it. You can get it in black, they say, that Godzilla Citizen. Only 2500 of those black ones. I guess that’s what makes it “limited.”
They say this Godzilla Citizen watch uses “Eco-Drive” technology. Don’t know what that is either. Maybe it runs on sunshine? That would be somethin’, a Godzilla Citizen watch powered by the sun! They say it can go 300 meters underwater, too, this Godzilla Citizen. I ain’t never gonna need that, but it’s good to know, I guess.
There are also a bunch of movies. This Godzilla fella, he’s been in lots of movies. Like Godzilla 1985, and Godzilla vs Biollante, and then Godzilla vs King Ghidorah. Then Godzilla And Mothra: Battle For Earth, then Godzilla vs MechaGodzilla II, then Godzilla vs SpaceGodzilla, and then Godzilla vs Destroyah. There are just so many movies about this Godzilla Citizen.

I heard some folks say that those Godzilla movies ain’t for kids. They say it’s too scary, this Godzilla Citizen. Too much fightin’ and loud noises. Maybe they’re right. I don’t know. I just know that this Godzilla Citizen is a big, big deal, this 70 year old monster. This Godzilla Citizen watch is somethin’ else, too. I reckon, it’s somethin’ to celebrate, this whole Godzilla Citizen thing.
This Godzilla fella, he’s been played by the same man, Haruo Nakajima, for a long time. From 1954 to 1972. He wore a big suit, they say, to be Godzilla. Can you imagine wearin’ a big rubber suit like that? Must have been hot! But it made this Godzilla Citizen famous, I reckon.
I don’t know much about these new-fangled things. But I know this Godzilla Citizen is famous. And that watch, that Godzilla Citizen watch, that’s somethin’ special, too. I guess if you like Godzilla, you’d like that watch. It’s a lot of money, though. But then again, it’s a Godzilla Citizen, and that’s somethin’ you don’t see every day.
I remember when I was a little girl, we didn’t have all these fancy things. We didn’t have no Godzilla Citizen. We just had the radio, and we were happy with that. But times change, I guess. Now we got this Godzilla Citizen, and these fancy watches, and all these movies on the TV. It’s a different world now, that’s for sure.
But this Godzilla Citizen, it’s still somethin’ special, even after all these years. 70 years! That’s a long time for a monster to be around. I guess that’s why they made that special watch, that Godzilla Citizen watch. It’s a way to remember him, I reckon. A way to celebrate this Godzilla Citizen.
