I saw a lot of people talking about the shoes trend for 2025, so I thought, why not? I’m gonna dive into this and see what’s up. After digging through tons of runway pics and trend reports, I finally got a good grasp of what’s gonna be hot next year.
First things first, I started by just browsing, you know, just to get a general feel. I looked at all sorts of fashion websites and blogs. Pictures, articles, you name it. Ballet flats are making a comeback, that’s for sure. They were big this year, and they’re gonna be even bigger next year. Lots of people are saying they’re one of the most popular styles in 2024. I saw this one blog post talking about “peep-toe” shoes being a divisive trend. I’m not a huge fan of peep-toes, but hey, to each their own.
Then I got a little more serious. I started actually researching, for hours. And you know what I found? Comfort and practicality are gonna be huge. Which, honestly, makes total sense. You gotta be able to actually walk in these things, right? I narrowed it down to six major trends, and one that really stood out to me was clogs. Yeah, clogs! I know, I know, some people think they’re ugly, but they’re actually pretty classic when you think about it. And comfortable, let me tell you.
My Shoe List for 2025
- Clogs: Like I said, comfy and classic. I’m definitely getting a pair.
- Ballet Flats: These are everywhere. I’m thinking maybe a metallic pair? I saw some silver ones that looked kinda cool.
- Moto Boots: These are a bit edgy, which I like. Plus, they look sturdy.
- Mary Janes: A little preppy, but you can dress them up or down.
- Classic Loafers: You can’t go wrong with a good loafer. Perfect for work or just running errands.
- Something with Feathers: I don’t even know. This is a bit out there for me, but I saw some shoes with feathers, and they were kind of… interesting. Maybe I’ll try it, maybe I won’t. We’ll see.
And then there’s this whole thing about customization. I saw that brands are letting people design their own shoes now. Picking out the colors, the materials, everything. That’s pretty cool, if you’re into that sort of thing. Might give it a try someday. I mean, who wouldn’t want shoes that are totally unique?
So, yeah, that’s my deep dive into the 2025 shoe trends. It was a lot of looking and reading, but I think I’ve got a pretty good handle on it now. I’m actually kind of excited to try out some of these styles. Maybe not the peep-toes though. We’ll see about that.
