So, I’ve been hearing a lot about this jewelry brand, Tanishq, especially since they started popping up in the US. I remember seeing something about them launching their 15th international store in Chicago, and I was like, “Okay, what’s the big deal?” I mean, jewelry is jewelry, right? But then I got curious.

First, I did a little digging online. It looks like Tanishq has been selling in the US through their website for a while now, over a year I think. Makes sense, gotta test the waters before you dive in, you know? Then I found out they finally opened a physical store here, their first one in the USA, in New Jersey. That’s a big step! They are saying it’s a two-story showroom. Fancy!
I started thinking, “Why now?” Maybe they saw a good opportunity. I saw a post on social media where they mentioned aiming to offer “unique designs and craftsmanship” and wanting to elevate the jewelry shopping experience. Sounds promising, I guess. They were talking about their curated selection in the first six months, so they are really trying to make an impression.
Then I stumbled upon this post, just a simple “You know what your reaction means.” It was from their official US account. Made me chuckle. They’re trying to be all mysterious and engaging. I guess it worked, because here I am, talking about them.
I also found an article talking about how shopping for jewelry, especially gold, isn’t something you just decide on a whim. It said you need to plan a lot before buying. Yeah, no kidding! Gold is expensive! You don’t want to just throw your money away. This article was from way back in 2017, though, so Tanishq has been on the radar for a while.
And get this, I found out that Tanishq’s global ranking online has been going up, like from 10,227 to 10 or something like that in just three months! That’s a huge jump! People are definitely checking them out.
I also saw a comment somewhere, someone was guessing that Tanishq makes their jewelry in India and then sells it here in the US. That would make sense, right? Keeps costs down, maybe? Unless they’re manufacturing here, which I doubt.
So, yeah, I started off just a little curious, and now I’m kind of invested in this whole Tanishq thing. I might actually go check out that store in New Jersey sometime. I mean, I’m not planning on buying anything anytime soon, gold is a big purchase. But still, it would be interesting to see what they’re all about.
