Okay, so, I’ve been wanting to go to this “Ken & Friends” concert for a while now. It’s like, the hottest ticket in town, you know? And it’s not just any concert, it’s a one-time thing, so obviously, everyone and their mom wants to go.

First thing I did was try to get tickets the normal way. I mean, who wouldn’t, right? They went on sale to the public, and guess what? Sold out. Like, instantly. It was crazy. I was hitting refresh on the website like a madman, but no luck. I was pretty bummed, but I wasn’t giving up that easily.
So then I started looking at resale sites. You know, StubHub, Vivid Seats, SeatGeek, all those places. Prices were insane! I saw some tickets going for over 400 bucks. I mean, I love Kendrick, but that’s a bit much, even for me. I thought maybe I could try my luck at the box office, but even there, it was still around 350. Nope.
Then I had a maybe not-so-bright idea. What if I tried to buy a ticket from a scalper outside the venue? I know, I know, it’s risky, and my friends thought I was crazy, but I was getting desperate. I figured it was worth a shot. Plus, I’ve never actually done that before, so I thought, hey, why not?
I did a little digging and found out that the concert was at the Kia Forum. Cool, I’ve been there before, so at least I knew where to go. I got there a few hours early, hoping to find someone selling tickets. I was walking around, trying to look cool and not too desperate, and I saw a bunch of people who looked like they were selling.
I went up to a few of them, asking about prices. Some were still crazy high, but then I found this one guy who seemed a little more reasonable. We chatted for a bit, and I managed to haggle him down to a price I could, well, almost afford. I was so excited that I might actually be able to get in.

So I forked over the cash, and he gave me the ticket. It looked legit, but you never know with these things. I walked up to the entrance, heart pounding, and handed my ticket to the guy at the door. He scanned it, and… it worked! I was in! I couldn’t believe it. I actually managed to get into the “Ken & Friends” concert, and it was all thanks to my, um, adventurous spirit.
The Show Itself
- The energy in the place was electric. I mean, 16,000 people all hyped up for Kendrick. It was wild.
- He played all the hits, of course. And the crowd went nuts for every song.
- There were even some surprise guests, which was awesome.
All in all, it was an amazing night. Totally worth the hassle of getting a ticket. And hey, I got a good story out of it, right? It just goes to show you, sometimes you gotta take a little risk to get what you want. Just be careful out there, kids, and don’t do anything I wouldn’t do… or maybe do, I don’t know. It worked out for me!
