Okay, so a few days ago, I got it into my head that I wanted to try and recreate Angelina Jolie’s eye look. You know, that smoldering, captivating gaze she’s got? Yeah, that one. I figured, why not give it a shot? I mean, who wouldn’t want eyes like hers, right?
First off, I had to do some digging. I spent a good chunk of time just staring at pictures of her online. Not in a creepy way, I swear! It was research. From what I gathered, her eyes are mostly blue, but they’ve got these little hints of green and gray mixed in. Some even said there’s some brown around the pupil, which I guess is why they can look so different in certain lights.
So, armed with this newfound knowledge, I started playing around with my makeup. I went for a soft, but defined look, nothing too crazy. I focused a lot on my lashes, tried to make them look all full and fluttery. I even attempted a subtle smoky eye, but let me tell you, that’s harder than it looks!
- First off, find some close-up pictures of her eyes.
- Figure out the main colors. Mostly blue, it seemed, but with hints of green and gray. Some even said brown around the pupil!
- Try a soft, defined makeup look.
- Focus on making my lashes look full and fluttery.
- Attempt a subtle smoky eye. Spoiler alert: it’s tough!
- Repeat several times.
- Realize I’m not Angelina Jolie (sadly).
- Decide to share my adventure online anyway.
My To-Do List
I tried it a few times, messing up a lot, naturally. I mean, I’m no makeup artist. And let’s be real, I’m no Angelina Jolie either. But you know what? It was fun! And I think I got a little bit closer to that mesmerizing look each time I tried.
It really got me thinking about how much of a difference eyes can make, you know? They really are the windows to the soul, or whatever that saying is. Anyway, I just wanted to share my little experiment with you all. Maybe it’ll inspire someone else to try something new. And hey, if you’ve got any tips on how to perfect the Angelina Jolie eye, let a girl know!
