OK, guys, let me tell you about my day trying to watch “The Martian.” I’d heard it was a good movie, something about a guy stuck on Mars. Sounds cool, right? So, I decided to find it.
First, I checked one of my go-to streaming services, you know, that one with the big red N. I searched for “The Martian,” but, nope, nothing. Disappointed, I moved on. Maybe that other one, the one with the smiley face logo, would have it. Typed it in… and bingo! It was there. But here’s the thing, it wasn’t included with my subscription, I had to buy or rent it separately.
I thought, “No way, I’m not paying extra.” So, I kept digging. I remembered that my friend had mentioned something about streaming sites where you can get the latest movies if you do not care about the bad picture quality, so I went to check that out.
- Found a site that looked promising.
- Scrolled through a bunch of titles, finally spotted “The Martian.”
- Clicked on it, and guess what?
- The quality was so poor that I could not accept it.
Other ways to watch
I was not giving up, though. I mean, I have several different streaming services I use that I pay for, so I figured I have to use them as much as I can. I checked my other accounts and finally found it on that Max one.
Finally, I settled in with some snacks and hit play. It was worth all the searching. Matt Damon did an amazing job. It is a really great movie about never giving up, even when you are alone on Mars.
So, that’s my little adventure trying to watch a movie. Just goes to show, sometimes you have to put in a little effort to find what you want, but it is worth it in the end!
