Okay, so, today I’m gonna talk about my little adventure with the Angel Muse perfume. You know, the one by Thierry Mugler. It all started a while back when I was just browsing through online stores, looking for something new, something exciting. And boom, there it was – Angel Muse. The name itself kinda got me, you know? Like, what’s this all about?

So, I did what any curious person would do – I started digging around. Found a bunch of places selling it, all with different deals and stuff. It was a bit overwhelming, honestly. But then I stumbled upon this “Hayward Enterprises Brand Perfume Oil Comparable to ANGEL MUSE.” Yeah, that’s a mouthful, I know. It was supposed to be like a dupe, an “impression” of the real thing. The price was way lower, so I thought, why not give it a shot?
I ordered it, and when it arrived, I was kinda hyped. I mean, who doesn’t love a good bargain, right? I tried it on, and… it was okay. It smelled kinda similar, but it just wasn’t the same. It was like, missing something, you know? Like a copy of a painting – it looks like the original, but it just doesn’t have that same magic.
After that, I decided to just go for the real deal. I found a site selling the actual Mugler Eau de Parfum. It was more expensive, yeah, but I figured it was worth a try. And boy, was I right!
Getting the Real Thing
- First Impression: When I first sprayed it on some paper, it was way brighter, more citrusy than what I expected. There was this lemon burst, which was kinda surprising.
- On Skin: But when I put it on my skin, that’s when the magic happened. It was like chocolate and orange, all creamy and delicious. Like an orange-flavored ganache, just like some folks online described.
- Wearing It Out: I wore it out a few times, and I gotta say, it’s a head-turner. People were asking me what I was wearing, and I was just loving the attention, haha.
I heard that Mugler wanted something that smelled “mouthwatering” when he made the original Angel, and they nailed it. They say it’s got patchouli and Veltol, whatever that is. But who cares about the technical stuff, right? All I know is, it smells amazing.
I wore this stuff for years and years. I was devastated when my bottle finally ran out. I went online to order more only to discover that it had been discontinued. What the heck! Mugler, you are losing a customer!

Someone online mentioned there are, like, 50 fragrances that are kinda like Angel now. They named a few, like Calvin Klein Euphoria, Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb, and Chanel Coco Mademoiselle. I might give those a try, but honestly, nothing beats the original, you know?
So yeah, that’s my story with Angel Muse. It was a journey, a bit of a rollercoaster, but totally worth it. If you can find it, grab a bottle. You won’t regret it. Trust me!
