Man, I’ve been wanting to get my hands on a new watch for a while now. Something classic, you know? But with a modern twist. So, I started digging around online, checking out all sorts of brands and styles. I stumbled across this Timex Q Chronograph, and it immediately caught my eye. I mean, come on, a quartz watch from Timex? That’s like a blast from the past!
I remember Timex being a big deal back in the day, and this Q model is a reissue of one of their originals from 1979. That’s when quartz watches were really taking off. I started looking up details. I found that some listings are pretty cheap, like 85 bucks! But some are more expensive, around 200. It depends on the seller, I guess. I saw some listings called “Q Timex” and some called “Timex Watches,” but it’s basically the same thing.

I dug a little deeper and found out that this Q Chronograph has all the bells and whistles you’d expect from a modern watch. I mean, it looks vintage, but it’s got all the modern tech. And the price is pretty sweet, considering the quality and history behind it. Most of them are from some kind of website which I can not mention here but I am pretty sure everyone can find it easily.
So, I took the plunge and ordered one. I went with one of the cheaper listings, figured I’d give it a shot. I mean, for 85 bucks, it’s not a huge risk. I’m still waiting for it to arrive, but I’m already pretty stoked. I’ll definitely post an update once I get it and try it on. Maybe I’ll even do a little unboxing video or something. We’ll see! I found another Timex watch, the TW2V74000, which is part of their Waterbury Traditional collection. It’s an automatic GMT watch with a black dial. That one’s a bit more expensive. But I’m really excited about this Q Chronograph. I think it’s going to be a great addition to my, uh, “collection” (which currently consists of a beat-up old digital watch I’ve had since high school).
Anyway, I’m really excited about this watch, it was really a journey for me to finally made my decision.
