Yo, listen up, lemme tell you about these shoes, the af1 team red. They’re somethin’ else, I tell ya. My grandson, he’s all into these fancy shoes, showed ’em to me. Said they’re a big deal.

These Nike Air Force 1, they call ’em. Came out in, uh, 1982, I think he said. Sounds like a long time ago. Back then, we just wore whatever kept our feet covered, didn’t care about no brands or colors. But these, they’re somethin’ special, I guess.
Red and White, Kinda Fancy
This af1 team red, it’s mostly white, but it’s got this red color, see? Like a, like a fire engine, almost. They put the red on the bottom, around the edges, you know. And on the inside, where your foot goes. And there’s this big swooshy thing on the side, that’s red too. They call it a “Swoosh”. Fancy name for a checkmark, if you ask me.
- White shoe, mostly
- Team Red color on the bottom and inside
- Big red “Swoosh” on the side
He said they came out with this color in, uh, 2021. Not that long ago, really. But kids these days, they gotta have the newest thing, right? Always somethin’ new comin’ out. Keeps ya on your toes, I suppose.
They made these shoes for basketball, my grandson told me. Can you believe it? Shoes just for jumpin’ around and throwin’ a ball. We used to play in our bare feet sometimes. Tougher back then, we were.
Why Folks Like ‘Em So Much
Now, why are these af1 team red shoes so popular? Well, my grandson, he says they’re “rare.” Means they don’t make a whole bunch of ’em. Makes ’em more special, I reckon. Like findin’ a four-leaf clover in the field. Everyone wants one.

They make ’em in different colors, too. All sorts of colors. And they get famous folks to wear ’em. Singers, actors, all them people on the TV. Makes the regular folks want ’em even more, I guess. Monkey see, monkey do, as they say.
They have these Nike Air Force 1 shoes, they are good. My grandson, he wears his all the time. Says they’re comfy. And they last a long time, he says. He says that these shoes, they can be worn and worn, and they just keep on going. That’s good, ’cause they ain’t cheap, these shoes.
How to Wear ‘Em, I Guess
My grandson, he showed me how to wear these af1 team red shoes. Not that I’d wear them. But I guess kids these days are picky. He said, don’t tie them too tight. Don’t tie them too tight, let the foot breath. Keep ’em loose, he said. Makes ya look “cool.” Whatever that means.
And don’t lace ’em all the way up, he told me. Leave the top one or two holes empty. Looks more “modern,” he said. Kids and their modern ways. Back in my day, we tied our shoes up tight so they wouldn’t fall off. Different times, I guess. Don’t want the shoe falling off when you’re running around.
These Air Force 1 07 Team Red are good for anyone. You can wear ’em fancy, or you can wear ’em plain. Up to you, I suppose. Just like wearin’ your Sunday best or your work clothes. Whatever makes ya feel good.

They’re Celebratin’ Somethin’
Oh, and he said somethin’ about these shoes celebratin’ somethin’. An “anniversary,” he called it. Forty years, I think he said. Forty years of these shoes. That’s a long time for shoes. Longer than some marriages last these days!
They got a special one, this Nike Air Force 1 Low 07 SE 40th Anniversary Edition Sail Team Red W. Whew, that’s a mouthful! It’s got that “Sail” color, which is kinda like, uh, like an old sheet, I guess. Off-white, you know. And it’s got that team red on it, too. These special shoes, they are not cheap. They are very expensive. More than $100.
So, yeah, these af1 team red shoes, they’re a big deal. Kids love ’em. They’re comfy, they last a long time, and they got all these fancy colors and famous people wearin’ ’em. Me? I’ll stick to my old boots. But I can see why folks like ’em, I guess. They are good shoes. They are popular. They are everywhere. It is the shoes of the time.
Just remember what my grandson said: Don’t tie ’em too tight, and leave those top holes empty. And if you get a pair, wear ’em however you like. Fancy or plain, it’s up to you. Just like life, I reckon. Do what makes ya happy.
