This hime cut, I tell ya, it’s somethin’ else. Seein’ all these young folks with it these days. Makes me think back to when I was a girl, we didn’t have fancy names for haircuts. You just got your hair cut, that’s all.

- The rest of the hair, usually long. But some girls get it short, too.
Now, I seen some girls with this hime cut, and it looks real good on ’em. They call it a Japanese style, very popular. Some famous person, Linda Miller, she knows all about it. She can tell ya how to do it just right, I bet.
My granddaughter, she got herself one of these hime cuts. She says it makes her feel like a princess. I told her she’s always been a princess to me, haircut or no haircut. But she likes it, and that’s what matters.

There is so many style of this hime cut. Long, straight one. Looks like most girls go with this one. That’s the classic one, I reckon. My granddaughter has this one. She likes it.
And there is one with wavy ends. Looks pretty too. And some have it all pink or purple, my granddaughter she also tried that pink one. That is also something I don’t really get. But the young people do like it.
And some girls with that real fine hair, they get this hime cut too. Makes their hair look thicker, I suppose. And some girls, they dye it real dark, ultra black, they call it. Looks kinda like them cartoon characters.
And there is one, shoulder length. Shorter than the usual, I don’t really get this one. But it is a choice.

Now, some folks, they try to cut this hime cut themselves. At home! Can you believe it? I wouldn’t trust myself with scissors near my hair, no sir. But they got these videos online, showin’ ya how to do it. Seems risky to me, but what do I know?
I always say, if you want somethin’ done right, go to a professional. Someone who knows what they’re doin’. Especially with somethin’ like this hime cut, it looks kinda complicated to me. But these young folks today, they’re braver than I was, I guess.
And I heard that if the distance from your chin to ear is less than 5.5cm, you can try short hair. And this hime cut, it can be on any face, oval, heart-shaped, even square. That is good.
They say this hime cut, it can make you look younger. Especially with them loose waves. Maybe I should try it! Nah, I’m just kiddin’. I’m too old for that kinda thing. But it’s nice to see all these different styles.

This hime cut is a trend, all the young people are doing it. They all look so pretty and happy. That’s the most important part. Makes me happy to see them happy. And if this is a fresh twist to the look, then that is good.
