Hey everyone, it’s your boy back again with another deep dive into something that’s been bugging me. Today, I wanted to figure out if Rosemarie Terenzio is married. You know, the name might ring a bell – she’s the one who was super close to JFK Jr., worked with him and all that. After he and Carolyn Bessette tragically passed away, she kind of stepped into the spotlight a bit more, even wrote a book about her time with JFK Jr. So, naturally, I got curious about her personal life.

First off, I hit up the usual spots – you know, the typical search engines, trying to find any recent interviews or articles that might mention her relationship status. It’s always a good starting point to see what the latest buzz is.
Then, I scoured through a bunch of articles about her book and her connection to JFK Jr. and Carolyn Bessette. I figured if she was married, it might have come up in some of these pieces, especially the ones focusing on her life after the Kennedys.
- I looked for any wedding announcements or mentions of a significant other. You know how sometimes these things get published in local newspapers or online.
- I checked out some society pages and blogs that cover the circles she might move in. Sometimes they drop hints about this kind of stuff.
- I even browsed through some of those websites dedicated to celebrity weddings and relationships, just in case there was something there.
Digging Deeper
After sifting through all that, I found a website, it was a wedding website, not official stuff, but you know, just like the Knot or something like that, and guess what? It was for Rosemarie Terenzio and a guy named David Mazzella! Can you believe it? I was pretty surprised.
But I didn’t stop there, I mean, I found some snippets of info related to her memoir published in 2012 and her relationship with Kennedy Jr., but nothing solid about her being married. I was like, is this for real?
So, I went down this rabbit hole of JFK Jr. and Carolyn Bessette stuff. I mean, their story is just so captivating, right? I read about their whirlwind courtship, their iconic style, and of course, their tragic end.

But then, I stumbled upon this tidbit about Bessette and Kennedy fighting in Central Park in 1996, like, right before they got married! And get this, Rosemarie Terenzio actually said that she thought that incident made JFK Jr. even more eager to marry her. Can you imagine? Drama!
And, I found something interesting, and it’s about a book, “JFK Jr.: An Intimate Oral Biography”. The book’s based on a ton of interviews with people close to JFK Jr., and guess who’s one of the authors? RoseMarie Terenzio! I know, right? Small world. This book talks all about JFK Jr.’s life, his relationship with Carolyn, and I’m guessing it has some juicy details, but it won’t mention any relationship about Rosemarie, right?
I kept digging and found this interview where RoseMarie Terenzio and Liz McNeil, another biographer, talked about that awful day when JFK Jr., Carolyn, and her sister Lauren passed away. It’s just so heartbreaking to read about. RoseMarie was so close to them. It’s like, she considered them family. And it got me thinking, how does someone even begin to pick up the pieces after losing people you’re that close to?
And then I read about Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy’s engagement ring. After she passed away, the ring was given back and became Caroline Kennedy Schlossberg’s (JFK’s daughter) engagement ring. Wow, right? The history behind that ring must be incredible. And then there’s this crazy detail about Carolyn plucking her eyebrows into wisps, bleaching and ironing her hair, and losing weight with the help of cigarettes and cocaine to kill her appetite. It’s like, the pressure she must have felt to fit into that world! And apparently, things got rocky pretty quickly after she and JFK Jr. got married in 1996. It’s all so tragic and fascinating at the same time.
Also, I read something about how Carolyn was late to her own wedding, and JFK Jr.’s friend, Sasha Chermayeff, who was at the wedding, said she thought it made everything perfect because the evening sun was setting. It’s like, even in the midst of all the chaos, there were these beautiful moments.

So, after all that digging, all I could confirm was this wedding website about Rosemarie and this David guy. While I’m not 100% sure since I couldn’t find anything concrete, it seems like she might be married. It looks like she found her own happiness after all those years of being so close to the Kennedys and experiencing that tragedy with them. It’s kind of nice to think about, you know? Anyway, that’s all I’ve got for now. Let me know if you guys find anything else!
