Okay, so, I’ve been meaning to share this little adventure I had the other day, and it’s all about finding a decent jeweler in Tavernier, FL. Let me tell you, it wasn’t as easy as I thought it would be.

I saw a few that looked promising, but one, in particular, caught my eye: DePaula Jewelers. Noticed they mentioned “handcrafted” pieces, which sounded right up my alley. Plus, the reviews were pretty decent, so I figured I’d check them out.
Got the address – 91200 Overseas Hwy – and hopped in my car. I drove down, and honestly, the place was easy enough to find. Walked in, and the first thing I noticed was how neat and organized everything was.
I started browsing around, just looking at the different pieces they had. I was told that they had been making custom jewelry for over 40 years. Also heard someone say they “take great pride in their work.” The staff were super friendly, not pushy at all, which is always a plus. They answered all my questions, and I even got to see some of the work they were doing behind the counter. It’s impressive, I gotta say. They really do everything by hand.
