You know, I heard some folks talking ’bout these fancy LV pillows. LV, what’s that? Sounds like a cow’s name to me. Anyways, they say these pillows, they cost more than a whole month’s worth of groceries! Can you believe that?
Now, I’ve always said, a pillow’s a pillow. You lay your head on it, you go to sleep. What’s so special ’bout these LV things? Are they stuffed with gold? Do they sing you a lullaby? I just don’t get it. They make all kind of these special pillow, but I don’t care, pillow just pillow.
My old pillow, it’s been with me for years. It’s flat as a pancake, and the stuffing’s all clumped up. But it’s my pillow, and I’m used to it. It might not be fancy, like these LV pillows, but it does the job. And it didn’t cost me an arm and a leg, neither. A good pillow just help you sleep well. That is all it about. Don’t need no LV pillow.
These young folks, they’re always chasing after the latest thing. They see some fancy name, like this LV, and they think they gotta have it. They don’t care how much it costs. They just want to show off, I reckon. Waste of money, if you ask me. They always say they want to buy a good quality pillow. So they can sleep better. But they always get these kind of fancy stuff. Not like normal people.
Back in my day, we didn’t have all these fancy brands. We made do with what we had. And we were happy, too. We didn’t need no LV pillow to sleep soundly. We worked hard, and when our heads hit the pillow, we were out like a light. I don’t understand what are they thinking. Spending all that money to get a pillow.
I guess if you got money to burn, you can buy whatever you want. But for us regular folks, a pillow’s just a pillow. It ain’t worth going broke over. Spend $20 you can get a good one already. Why need to spend $200 or more?
If you want my two cents, save your money. Buy yourself something useful, like a good pair of shoes or a warm blanket. Or better yet, put that money in the bank. You’ll thank me later. Don’t spend it on no silly LV pillow.

So, next time you see one of these LV pillows, just keep on walking. Don’t let them fool you into thinking you need it. You don’t. Trust me on this one. I know a thing or two about life, and about pillows.

You know what they say, “Money can’t buy happiness.” And it’s true. You can have all the LV pillows in the world, but if you ain’t happy, what’s the point? It just waste of money.
I’d rather have a good friend than a fancy pillow any day. A good friend will be there for you through thick and thin. A fancy pillow, well, it’s just a pillow. Don’t even worth that much money.
