Okay, so I’ve been messing around with this whole Metro Boomin album cover thing, and let me tell you, it’s been a ride. Here’s how it all went down.

First off, I jumped onto Pinterest. I typed in “Metro Boomin album cover” in the search bar and scrolled through a ton of images. I wanted to see what kind of vibe people were digging for his covers.
Inspiration and Ideas
- Noticed a lot of people are into the “Heroes & Villains” cover.
- Saw some cool fan-made stuff, which got me thinking.
Then I stumbled upon some articles talking about his new album, “Heroes & Villains.” Apparently, the cover art is inspired by Pink Floyd’s “Wish You Were Here.” Pretty neat, huh? It’s got this dude shaking hands with his fiery twin. That got my creative juices flowing.
Diving Deeper
I read that Metro Boomin’s album has two sides—the “Hero” side and the “Villain” side. So, I started sketching out some ideas, trying to capture both vibes. It was a bit tricky, but fun.
Wallpaper Exploration
I also checked out some wallpapers featuring his album covers. I figured it would be cool to have a matching wallpaper for my phone. There are some awesome designs out there. I downloaded a few that I really liked.
Remix Album
Oh, and get this—there’s a “Villains” edition of the album with remixes. I listened to a couple of tracks. They’re fire! It made me appreciate the original artwork even more, knowing there’s a whole other dimension to it.

Other album cover designers
Later, I found an artist named Leif Podhajsky. He designed some album covers for Foals band. He reused a photo by a National Geographic photographer, Thomas Nebbia. I quite liked the atmospheric and abstract feeling of the photo.
So yeah, that’s my little adventure with Metro Boomin’s album covers. I ended up with a bunch of cool ideas, a new wallpaper, and a deeper appreciation for the artistry behind his music. It’s always awesome to see how music and visual art come together.
