Okay, so today I wanted to try something different with my hair. I usually just let it down or throw it up in a ponytail, but I was feeling fancy. I decided to go for a bun, but not just any regular bun – a bun with accessories!
First, I brushed my hair to get all the tangles out. My hair is kind of long, so it took a bit. Once it was all smooth, I pulled it back like I was going to make a ponytail. But instead of stopping there, I started twisting my hair around and around.
Making the Bun
This is where it got a little tricky. I tried to keep the twist tight so the bun wouldn’t be too loose. Then I wrapped the twisted hair around the base, kind of like making a cinnamon roll, you know? I tucked the end of my hair under the bun and secured it with a hair tie. It wasn’t perfect, but it was a decent-looking bun.
Adding the Accessories
Now for the fun part – the accessories! I had these cute little pearl pins that I thought would look nice. So I carefully placed them around the bun. I didn’t want to overdo it, so I only used four pins. And you know what? It looked pretty good!
- Brush your hair to remove tangles.
- Gather your hair into a ponytail.
- Twist your hair tightly.
- Wrap the twisted hair around to form a bun.
- Secure the bun with a hair tie.
- Add accessories like pearl pins or clips.
I also had a sparkly clip that I sometimes use. I tried putting that on, too, but it felt a bit much with the pearl pins. Maybe next time I’ll just use the clip by itself. Anyway, I was pretty happy with how it turned out. It’s definitely a step up from my usual boring hairstyles. It is really a good hairstyle for a wedding or other formal occasion.
It’s not that hard to do, really. Even if your hair isn’t super long, you could still make a smaller bun and add some accessories. Just give it a try! You might surprise yourself.
