Okay, so, I’ve been seeing these light pink nails all over my feed lately, and I finally decided to give them a try. I’m not usually a pink nail polish kind of girl, but these were just too cute to resist. I went with OPI because, well, they’re just a classic, right?

First, I had to pick the right shade. There were so many light pinks to choose from! I wanted something soft and subtle, not too bright or flashy. Finally, I found the perfect one – it was called “I Think in Pink”. They also have a shade called “Tickle My Francey”, that sounds really lovely, but I thought this “I Think in Pink” one is really suitable for me. It looked like it would give me that dreamy, romantic look I was going for.
Then came the application. I started by prepping my nails, you know, filing them, pushing back my cuticles, the usual. Then, I applied a base coat to protect my natural nails and help the polish last longer. I waited for that to dry completely, which felt like forever because I was so excited to see the color on my nails!
Next, I carefully painted on two coats of “I Think in Pink”. I was surprised at how opaque it was for such a light color. With some pastels, you need like three or four coats, but this one was perfect with just two. I made sure each coat was dry before applying the next one to avoid any smudging.
- Prep nails (file, push back cuticles)
- Apply base coat
- Apply two coats of “I Think in Pink”, making sure to dry between coats
- Apply top coat
- Admire the beautiful light pink nails!
Finally, I finished with a top coat to seal everything in and add some shine. I even tried doing a little nail art with “Alpine Snow”, just adding white on my ring fingers. It made the pink really pop and gave it a bit of extra flair.
And that’s it! I’m so in love with how my nails turned out. They’re the perfect shade of light pink, and the OPI polish applied so smoothly and evenly. It really makes me feel like a girly princess, you know? If you’re thinking about trying light pink nails, I definitely recommend this shade from OPI. I heard some people say Funny Bunny is also a good one, but I prefer a warmer tone. Just go for it, maybe this is your go-to color!
