Recently, I’ve been looking into cosplay stuff, and guess what? I tried out a nurse outfit from “Promising Young Woman.” I know, it’s a bit of a wild ride, right? Anyway, I just had to share how it all went down.

Shopping
First off, I hit up a bunch of online stores to see what they had. I found a few options, ranging from 30 to 50 bucks. I was like, “Okay, not too bad.” I ended up going with one from this site called Amxiu—it was around 53 dollars. Seemed like a good middle ground, you know? Not the cheapest, but not gonna break the bank either.
Waiting Game
So, I placed the order and then came the waiting. It took about a week and a half, which is pretty standard, I guess. Every day I’d peek out the window looking for the delivery guy. Finally, the package arrived. Ripped that thing open like it was Christmas morning!
First Impressions
The costume looked pretty decent right out of the box. It came with the dress, a hat, and even a little necklace. I slipped it on, and honestly, it fit pretty well. The material wasn’t super high-quality, but it didn’t feel like it was gonna fall apart either. Good enough for a few wears, at least.
Trying It Out
I wore it around the house for a day, just to see how it felt. The dress was kinda cute, in a retro way. But that hat? It kept slipping off. I had to use a bunch of bobby pins to keep it in place. And the necklace was just okay—nothing to write home about.
The Real Test
I decided to wear it to a small Halloween get-together with friends. Got a few compliments, which was cool. But man, by the end of the night, I was itching to get out of it. It wasn’t the most comfortable thing to wear for hours on end. Plus, I had to keep adjusting that damn hat!

Final Thoughts
- Price: Not too bad for what you get.
- Quality: Decent, but don’t expect it to last forever.
- Comfort: It’s okay for a short time, but not for a whole night.
- Look: Pretty spot-on if you’re going for that “Promising Young Woman” vibe.
All in all, it was a fun little experiment. Would I wear it again? Maybe to another party or something. But I wouldn’t say it’s the best costume I’ve ever owned. Still, it was cool to channel a bit of that Cassie vibe, even if just for a night.
