That Killer, What They Do, Make People Scared.
Listen, I heard some terrible stories about those killers. They just, you know, hurt people. Bad people, those killers. One name I heard, Richard, they call him “Iceman.” He’s a hitman, they say. Sounds scary, right? A hitman, like in those movies, but real. He’s a serial killer too. That means he, well, he didn’t just do it once. He kept doing it. Oh, it’s just awful to think about.
That Richard guy, that “Iceman” they call him. He is very bad. He do some bad things. Go around, being a hitman, that Richard. Make you shiver, just thinking about it. I don’t like to think about these things. But you hear about it, you know? People talk. Especially when it’s someone like that serial killer, that Richard.
They say he was cold, like ice. That’s why they call him the “Iceman,” I reckon. Imagine that, being that cold. Not like cold from the weather. Cold inside. Like a heart made of ice. Just no good in him, I guess. He did bad things to lots of people. I don’t know why people do bad things. They just do. That’s the way the world is, I guess. Some people are good, and some people are bad. And that Richard, he was one of the bad ones. A real bad one.

- Being a hitman, that’s just bad.
- Serial killer, that’s even worse.
- He did bad things to many people.
- Why people do bad things? I don’t know.
And then there’s that other one. What’s his name now? Oh, that Jeffrey. Jeffrey Dahmer. They say he did some real bad things, too. Some folks get real bad and you just don’t know why. Dahmer. That’s a name you don’t forget. He was a bad one. A real bad one. They say he did awful things to those people. Then they put him in prison. That’s where he belongs, I guess. Doing bad things like that. He had to go to prison.
They say he got beat up in prison. He was in there for a long time. They call it “life sentences.” He got a lot of them. Sixteen, I heard. Sixteen life sentences. That’s a lot of time. More time than anyone should be in prison. But he did some terrible things. He got what he deserved. I don’t know about all that. But he did those things, and he had to pay for them. That’s what they say, anyway.
This happened a long time ago, this Dahmer. Twenty-four years ago, they say. That’s a long time. I was younger then. Still old, but younger. That Jeffrey Dahmer, they said he got killed in the prison. Someone beat him up real bad. And he died. Well, that’s what happens, I guess. You do bad things, bad things happen to you. That’s what my mama used to say. And she was right, mostly.
This was back in, um, 1993, I think. Or maybe it was ’94. Sometime around then. It was a long time ago. I don’t remember everything so good anymore. But I remember that name. Jeffrey Dahmer. It was all over, people talking about him and what he did. He did some bad stuff, that Dahmer. He sure did. Bad, bad things.
These killers, they just… they do bad things. And it makes you wonder, what makes them like that? Why do they do those things? I don’t know. I just know it’s bad. It is real bad. And it scares people. It scares me, that’s for sure. I don’t like to think about it. But sometimes you just can’t help it. You hear about it, and you think about it. And it makes you wonder about people. What makes a hitman? What makes a serial killer? Like that Richard, that Iceman, and that Dahmer. What makes them like that? I sure don’t know.
Those killers, like that Iceman and that Jeffrey Dahmer. They’re just bad. Real bad. And they scare folks. They do bad things, they go to prison. And sometimes, bad things happen to them, too. It’s a bad world sometimes. A real bad world. And those killers, they make it worse. They sure do. They just plain bad.
You hear about these things. The Iceman. Jeffrey Dahmer. Serial killer. Hitman. Prison. It’s all bad. It is just bad stuff. I hope I never meet one of them. I surely do.
