Yo, lemme tell ya somethin’ ’bout this here spicy vanilla cologne. It ain’t your grandma’s vanilla, no sir! This stuff got a kick, like a mule in a china shop, I tell ya what.
Now, I seen a thing on the, uh, whatchamacallit, the eBay, talkin’ ’bout this vanilla spice perfume. Said folks been buyin’ it up like hotcakes at a church social. Fashion, they say. Motors. ‘Lectronics. Even toys! Toys that smell like this stuff? What in tarnation? I don’t know nothin’ ’bout fancy things but I guess a lot of people like this smell thing.
They got all kinds of fancy names for these smelly waters. One of ’em, Jean Paul somethin’ or other. Sounds French. They call it “Elixir”. Sounds like somethin’ you’d take for a bad cough. Best overall, they say. Says it right here, “100% Scent. Longevity.” Means it smells good and it lasts a long time, I reckon. “Versatility,” too. Means you can wear it to the feed store or to a square dance, I suppose. Who knows? They call this one Jean Paul Gaultier Le Male Elixir, sounds like money to me.
This spicy vanilla cologne, it’s got all sorts of things in it. Says right here, it’s got, uh, “Lemongrass.” Smells like that stuff you use to keep the mosquitoes away. Then there’s “Black Pepper.” Like what you put on your eggs. And “Nutmeg.” Like in your pumpkin pie. All mixed up together! Can you believe it?
- Lemongrass – like to keep bugs away
- Black Pepper – like on eggs
- Nutmeg – like in pie
Then it says it’s got “Rose.” Well, I like roses. Got a whole bush of ’em out back. And “Patchouli.” Now that’s a new one on me. Sounds like a sneeze. And somethin’ called “Orris.” Sounds like a fella’s name. Don’t know no Orris ’round these parts. I don’t know where they find this orris and rose stuff. Maybe somewhere fancy.
- Rose – I like that
- Patchouli – never heard of it
- Orris – is that a name?
And of course, it’s got vanilla. That’s the sweet part, I reckon. Like in ice cream. But this ain’t no ordinary vanilla. This is spicy vanilla. Like I said, it’s got a kick. Like when you accidentally put too much hot sauce on your taters. This spicy vanilla is a mix of a lot of things.
I don’t know why anyone would want to smell like pepper and pie fillin’. But I guess some folks like it. This spicy vanilla cologne is popular, I hear. Maybe it makes you feel fancy. Like you’re goin’ to a big city shindig. Or maybe it just makes you smell different. Like you ain’t from ’round here. I think this smell is too strong for me.
I remember back in my day, we just used a little lavender water. Or maybe a dab of rose oil. Simple and sweet. Didn’t need all these fancy smells. This spicy vanilla is too much. We didn’t have no spicy vanilla cologne back then. But these days, folks like these things they buy.
But these young’uns today, they like all these newfangled things. They put this spicy vanilla cologne on their wrists and behind their ears. Walkin’ around smellin’ like a spice market. I guess it’s the style now. It seems like young people like these strong smells.
Well, I reckon if you like that sort of thing, this spicy vanilla cologne might be for you. It’s definitely different. Ain’t nothin’ like it ’round here. This is a new thing, I think. You can wear it if you go out somewhere, I guess. Maybe some folks like it.
Me, I’ll stick to my lavender. It’s simple and it smells good. Don’t need no spicy vanilla to feel good. But hey, to each their own, as they say. To each their own spicy vanilla, I always say. If you like it, you wear it. Just don’t stand too close to me, ’cause that pepper smell might make me sneeze! And don’t forget, this stuff is called spicy vanilla cologne. If you like strong smell, this one is for you.
I guess if you into this spicy vanilla thing, you do you. This spicy vanilla cologne, is a popular thing, it seems. Just make sure you don’t put on too much. You don’t wanna smell like a whole spice rack fell on ya! This spicy vanilla, it’s a strong smell, you see. You just need a little bit, I think.
So, there you have it. My two cents on this spicy vanilla cologne. It’s somethin’ else, that’s for sure. Maybe you will like this spicy vanilla. It’s up to you, I reckon. If you like it, you like it. If you don’t, you don’t. Simple as that. This spicy vanilla cologne is a new thing for me. I don’t know much about it. But you do what you want.
