Alright, so today I’m gonna do something I’ve been wanting to try for a while – classy almond nails. I saw some pictures online, and they looked so elegant and cool, I just had to give it a shot. Plus, my nails were getting a bit long, and I needed a change.

First, I removed my old nail polish. It was a bright red, which was fun, but it was time for something different. I used a gentle remover, and made sure to clean the nail bed afterward. It’s important to keep your hands clean, you know?
Shaping the Nails
Next up, the shaping part. This was the most important step because, you know, it’s “almond” nails we’re going for. I took my nail file and started filing the sides of my nails. I made sure to file in one direction to avoid any splitting or breaking, which I learned to do from a previous bad experience.
Then, I rounded the top, but not too much, because I didn’t want them to look too pointy, like talons. Almond shape is more of a gentle curve, like the shape of an actual almond. It took some time and patience, but I think I got the hang of it.
Applying the Polish
Once I was happy with the shape, it was time for the fun part – the color! I chose a beautiful, elegant color. I saw a picture of blueberry glazed nails that was so pretty that I decided to try it myself.
- I applied a thin base coat first.
- Then, I carefully painted two coats of the color, waiting for each coat to dry before applying the next.
- Finally, I finished it off with a glossy top coat to make them extra shiny and to help the polish last longer.
The Result
And there you have it! My very own classy almond nails. They turned out even better than I expected. They look so chic and sophisticated, and I can’t stop looking at my hands. It might be because my hands are wide, but the shape makes my fingers look longer and more elegant. I’m definitely going to be doing this again. Maybe next time, I’ll try a different color, like a glazed lavender or jade green. There are so many possibilities!

So, if you’re thinking about trying almond nails, I say go for it! It’s a fun and easy way to change up your look. Just remember to take your time with the shaping, and have fun choosing your color. You won’t regret it!
