Hey guys, so I’ve been wanting to watch “Astro Boy” for a while now. I kept hearing about this youthful robot boy and got really curious. I did a bit of digging to see where I could actually watch it.
First, I searched if eBay has something about “Astro Boy” and I found a lot of “Astro Boy” stuff there. But I’m not looking for stuff, I just want to watch the series.
Then, I tried a few of the usual places, but it wasn’t as easy as I thought. It’s an older series, so it’s not on all the big streaming services. I checked out a bunch of sites that supposedly list where to stream things, but a lot of them were outdated or just plain wrong.
I went on and searched for some more, and found out that I could buy “Astro Boy” – Season 1 on Apple TV. But I’m not really keen on buying it just yet. I wanted to see if I could stream it somewhere first.
I finally found it streaming on Crave Starz. It’s also apparently available on the Starz Amazon Channel. I already have Amazon Prime, so I just added the Starz channel, and bam, there it was!
I started watching it, and man, it’s pretty cool! It’s about this robot boy who’s modeled after the creator’s dead son. It’s a bit sad, but also really interesting to see how this android deals with everything. I’m only a few episodes in, but I’m definitely hooked. It’s wild to think this series was one of the first anime to be broadcast overseas. It really started something big!
So yeah, if you guys are looking to watch “Astro Boy,” it’s on Crave Starz and the Starz Amazon Channel. It took me a bit of searching, but it was totally worth it. I love this kind of series.
