Okay, so today I decided to do something a little out there, even for me. I’ve always been a huge fan of Will Smith, not just for his movies, but for his whole vibe, you know? So, I got this wild idea: What if I tried to dress up as Will Smith… but as a woman? Sounds crazy, right? But I was all in.
First thing I did was to dig through my closet. I needed something that screamed “Will Smith” but with a feminine twist. After trying on like a million outfits, I found this long, flowy gown. It was kinda like that one he wore in that Instagram picture, the one where he was all dolled up as the Genie. That was my starting point.
- Tried on tons of outfits.
- Settled on a flowy gown.
- Used the “Genie” look as inspiration.
Then came the makeup. Now, I’m no makeup artist, but I gave it my best shot. I watched a bunch of YouTube tutorials, trying to figure out how to contour my face to look a bit more like his. Let me tell you, contouring is hard! But I think I did an okay job. At least I didn’t look like a complete clown.
Getting into Character
It wasn’t just about the clothes and makeup, though. I really wanted to embody the character. So I spent the next hour or so just walking around my apartment, trying to mimic his mannerisms. I practiced his walk, his gestures, even that little head tilt he does. I must have looked ridiculous, but hey, I was having fun.
I even tried to rap a little. Let’s just say, I’m no Fresh Prince. But it was hilarious trying to spit some rhymes in a dress. I definitely gained a new appreciation for his skills.
The Big Reveal…To Myself
Finally, I decided to do a little photoshoot. I set up my phone, put on a timer, and started posing. It felt so weird, but also kinda cool. Seeing myself in the mirror, all dressed up like a female version of Will Smith, was a trip. I took a bunch of pictures, trying out different poses and expressions.

In the end, did I really look like Will Smith? Nah, probably not. But did I have a blast doing it? Absolutely! It was a fun little experiment, a way to pay tribute to one of my favorite actors in a unique way. Plus, I got some pretty hilarious pictures out of it. Who knows, maybe I’ll make this a regular thing. Next time, I might try to channel my inner Jada. Now that would be a challenge!
So yeah, that’s my story of becoming a woman Will Smith for a day. It was silly, it was fun, and it was definitely something I won’t forget. Hope you got a kick out of it too!
