Alright, lemme tell ya somethin’ about these Yeezy black and white shoes. These shoes, they’re somethin’ else. My grandson, he’s all about these things. Says they’re the “in” thing. Me? I don’t know about all that. But I gotta say, they’re pretty popular, you see them everywhere.
This fella, this Kanye, or Ye, or whatever he calls himself now, started this whole Yeezy thing. My grandson, he showed me. It’s all over the internet thing. He made these shoes, and now everybody wants ’em. Black and white ones, those are the ones my grandson likes. Simple, he says, goes with everything. I say, well they cost a lotta money to be so simple!
He says they’re special, these Yeezy black and white shoes. Got a special number and all. Like a secret code or somethin’. You gotta check the box, he says, make sure it’s the real deal. Lots of fake ones out there, he tells me. People tryin’ to trick ya. Gotta be careful, he says. This world, full of tricksters tryin’ to take your money. These Yeezy black and white are a big deal, I guess.
- Gotta check the number inside the shoe.
- Gotta check the number on the box.
- If they don’t match, they ain’t real.
- The tag gotta be just right, too.
Now, keepin’ ’em clean, that’s a whole other story. My grandson, he’s real careful with his. Says you gotta use this special mix. Water and that white vinegar stuff. Heard that vinegar is good for a lotta things. Cleans these Yeezys, cleans other shoes, cleans just about anything, I reckon. Keeps those Yeezy black and white lookin’ spiffy, I suppose.
He says, gettin’ these Yeezy shoes is hard work. Some fella named George, a sneaker head I think he called him, he knows all about it. Me, I don’t know nothin’ about that. Just know my grandson saves up all his money for these things. He worked all summer, mowin’ lawns and such, just to get a pair of these Yeezy black and white.
These Yeezy, they’re more than just shoes, I guess. They got clothes, too. And music, my grandson says. It’s a whole big thing. This Kanye fella, he’s a busy one, I reckon. Makin’ shoes, makin’ clothes, makin’ music. And these black and white Yeezy, they’re right in the middle of it all. It’s a crazy world, ain’t it?
My grandson, he’s happy with his Yeezy black and white shoes. That’s what matters, I suppose. Makes him feel good, wearin’ ’em. Says they’re comfortable, too. I tried ’em on once. They’re alright, I guess. Not my style, but hey, to each their own, right?
These kids today, with their fancy shoes and their internet. It’s all beyond me. But I try to keep up. For my grandson’s sake. He explains it all to me, bless his heart. Tells me about the Yeezy and the Kanye and the black and white shoes. Says it’s important to him.
So, I listen. I nod my head. I try to understand. This whole Yeezy thing, it’s a big deal. Especially those Yeezy black and white. They’re more than just shoes, they’re a, what do they call it, a statement? Yeah, that’s it. A statement. Whatever that means. Just means they’re popular, I guess. And expensive. Very expensive.
I still think he shoulda saved his money for somethin’ more important. But he’s a good boy. He works hard. He deserves to treat himself, I suppose. And if these Yeezy black and white shoes make him happy, then who am I to say anything? Just an old lady, what do I know?
One thing I do know, though, is that these shoes, these Yeezy, they got a hold on these young folks. My grandson, he’s not the only one. All his friends, they all want ’em. These Yeezy black and white, they’re like gold to them. They talk about ’em all the time. Where to get ’em, how to get ’em, how much they cost. It’s all they talk about.
Well, I guess that’s all I got to say about these Yeezy shoes. They are somethin’ special to these young folks. And this Kanye, or Ye, or whatever, he’s done somethin’ right, I guess. Made somethin’ that everybody wants. Especially those black and white ones. Those Yeezy black and white, they’re the real deal, I hear.
Just remember what my grandson said, gotta check that number. Make sure they’re real. Don’t want no fakes. And keep ’em clean with that vinegar and water. That’s the secret, he says. Keeps those Yeezy black and white lookin’ brand new.
